[TPW] Strategy: Inexorable Defeat

Postby Daidoji Ryushi » May 19th, 2010, 4:56 am

Inexorable Defeat - Strategy
0 GC
Battle/Open: Destroy a target terrain or region. Lose 2 Honor
Battle: If any enemy units are at the current battlefield, choose your performing personality: Move him there. Straighten his unit if he moved. You scorch the earth behind him. If he moved, negate the movement of any other units to that battlefield. Lose 2 Honor.
2 FV

I'm on the fence about this card.

The Battle/Open Region destruction is really good.

The movement ability on the other hand is less than the best option out there, as you can still be sent home.

What surprises me, is the amount of Crane players who want to add this to their decks. IMO, focus value aside, losing two honor can easily lose you the game....

The movement ability is good tech against cavalry and other movement crap (*insert rant about ninjas here*). Granted, you'd only get the one unit to go, but still. I like the fact this can go into any deck (meaning it doesn't specify samurai, or anything of the like).
Still, it'll need playtesting, I think.
