Needs something else, like "Recon. Open: Discard this card to do XXX." RA 4 doesn't get it done and the Crab decks need a better 'tool box' assortment of strategies with their followers otherwise they'll never leave their Battle/Open: Straigten a unit.

You've fallen into the trap that so many players do. "It's called Hiruma Sniper so it must be a crab card".

This card shines quite nicely outside of crab. I hear there is a mantis stronghold with a Recon action built into it.

I cant believe I need to defend this guy...

Out of the Mantis recon box this is a 4 force follower, with a range 4 attack, FOR 4 GOLD !!!! Possibly one of the most cost efficient followers ever printed for mantis, EVER.

I also want to point out that I'm ranking this guy as the 2nd best follower of the arc so far. (I dont even play Mantis)

Could possibly make it as followers 10-12 in my Scout deck. Further inspection necessary when I rip my decks apart after Sunday.
