Printers are often booked out many months in advance. It's very difficult to find the right 'window' to print in, and it is usually better to print too early than not be able to fit it into the schedule further down the line.

Also a mater of cost, printing in bulk lots, cheeper to tie all your sub products to a magor print run, some one at the printer packaging area jsut got fired i think.....

If you have seen that card on-line you will see it has a legality date of November 1st. That should gave you a general idea of the timeframe they expect to release it. When else coudl they print it? It isn't like they do s pecial print run just for a promo card.

Disapointing realy, i would rahter gone unware of hte cards exsistance and had the shock value when you get the fiction nad the card droped around the same time, it would be awesome to see what hte story team would done as the shock value would be sweet, as panekis been such a magor important player in rokugan for so long, his first version back in spiritwars.
